The Estonian National Scholarship Programme provides mobility grants for researchers, scholarships for summer school participants, and scholarships for foreign students (either degree or exchange).
Scholarship for participation in summer schools
- Scholarship can be applied for by foreign Bachelor's, Master's and PhD students.
- Estonian universities offer various international short courses with a duration of 1-4 weeks.
- In 2021, students can also apply for the scholarship to participate in online courses.

Scholarship for research and lectures
- Scholarship can be applied for by the researchers and academic staff of foreign higher education institutions.
- Scholarship can be awarded for up to 10 months for the academic year 2021/2022.

Scholarship for degree studies
- Scholarship can be applied for by Bachelor's, Master's and PhD students who wish to study in Estonia during the academic year 2021/2022 in degree or exchange studies.
- In Bachelor level the scholarship can only be applied for in fields that are related to Estonian language and culture. In Master's and PhD studies, all fields are supported.
- Application period is August 01, 2021 - September 01, 2021.

The Estophilus scholarship supports the studies and research of students enrolled in universities abroad and of international researchers interested in the Estonian language and culture, thus contributing to knowledge exchange and visibility of Estonia.
Scholarship for Estonia-specific research (Estophilus)
- Scholarship may be applied for by final year Bachelor's students, Master’s students, PhD students, and post-doctorate researchers for staying in Estonia and conducting research or collecting material about Estonia for a period of 1-5 months.
